An animated comedy film starring the beloved hero Cat. Having used up eight of his nine lives, the owner of the sword, hat and boots sets out on an amazing and dangerous journey to find the mythical “Last Wish”. The Cat in the Boot makes a wish to regain his nine lives.

The first “Puss in Boots” was released in 2011 and earned $555 million at the worldwide box office, on a budget of $130 million. DreamWorks Animation planned to create a sequel with the working title “Puss in Boots 2: Nine Lives and 40 Thieves” and release it in theaters in 2018, but the plans did not come true.
